Job Description

We are seeking a senior strategic leader to join our GenAI Centre of Excellence at group level in a permanent position. Reporting directly to the Head of GenAI CoE - Value Capture, this role combines operational excellence with strategic foresight to ensure our GenAI investments deliver measurable business value while positioning the organisation for future AI-driven transformation. This is a rare opportunity to shape how a large organisation operationalises, governs and scales GenAI and to influence where and how we invest for the future.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and embed the group‑wide operating model for GenAI delivery
  • Establish governance, standards, playbooks and ways of working across CoE, business units and technology teams
  • Define and track KPIs, benefits realisation and impact reporting, partnering closely with FP&A
  • Lead portfolio prioritisation, investment reviews and business case assurance
  • Provide senior‑level oversight, risk management and quality assurance on key GenAI initiatives
  • Assess and size GenAI value potential across functions and value chains
  • Build business cases for major GenAI investment themes
  • Develop strategic scenarios on GenAI adoption, competitive impact and operating model implications
  • Advise senior leaders on emerging AI trends, risks and opportunities
  • Contribute to group‑wide AI strategy and policy development

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in strategy, transformation, operations or value management roles
  • Proven experience designing and embedding operating models, governance or portfolio frameworks
  • Strong analytical capability, including business cases, financial modelling and impact measurement
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders in complex, matrix organisations
  • Ability to drive change without direct authority

Nice to have

  • Experience working with GenAI, data, analytics or emerging technologies from a business perspective
  • Exposure to portfolio or programme management in large‑scale change environments
  • Familiarity with benefits realisation or investment governance frameworks
