Job Description:

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced GenAI expert to lead the design and roadmap of Generative AI platform solutions at the Citi Innovation Lab. The ideal candidate is passionate about AI and Generative AI, has an excellent track record in high scale engineering products and hands-on experience in developing AI and GenAI solutions. In this role, you'll be a key player in driving innovative projects throughout the bank using AI and specifically generative AI.

Job Responsibility:

Lead research and development activities with the goal of finding innovative solutions with substantial impact potential for the business units across Citi
lead design and architecture for a broad range of AI infrastructure tools and technologies
work with internal and external partners to design, validate and deliver solutions with a commercial benefit for Citi
manage multiple concurrent initiatives and projects of varying sizes and complexity
engage with technical and business stakeholders to define and design overall architecture for key use-cases across TTS, Markets, Securities Services and Banking Business Lines
partner with Citi’s AI Centre of Excellence to ensure best practice is followed from the perspectives of good governance, risk management, standardization, and tooling

Requirements:

Academic degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
at least 7 years of experience in the software industry
at least 3 years of proven experience as a tech lead or an architect of a large unit
at least 2 years of hands-on experience working on GenAI projects, personal or professional
background in data science or working on data science centric projects is an advantage
strong and diverse technical background
ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies
influence highly skilled engineering teams and overall have a personal impact on technology decisions and vision
vast experience with cloud architectures
proficiency in programming languages such as Python
excellent communication skills
leadership and organizational abilities
excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
strategic thinker
experience in the financial industry – major advantage

Nice to have:

Background in data science or working on data science centric projects
experience in the financial industry
