Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, service-driven and passionate Gelato Attendant Intern to join our exclusive Niko Romito Gelato Project at Bvlgari Hotel Milano. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to learn and develop within a luxury hospitality environment, supporting the team in delivering an exceptional guest experience through the daily operation of the dedicated gelato cart. You will gain hands-on experience while contributing to memorable guest interactions and high service standards. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, demonstrates a positive attitude and shows a genuine interest in hospitality, food and guest engagement.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the daily operations of the gelato cart in line with hotel and brand standards
  • Welcome and interact with guests in a warm, professional and approachable manner
  • Assist in presenting and describing gelato flavors and concepts
  • Support service activities ensuring good presentation and consistency standards
  • Help maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety procedures
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels and reporting replenishment needs
  • Support setup, preparation and closing procedures of the gelato station
  • Contribute to maintaining the cart and surrounding area visually clean and organized
  • Learn how to anticipate guest needs and support the team in delivering attentive service
  • Collaborate with Restaurant, Kitchen and F&B teams to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Follow company procedures, grooming standards and health & safety regulations

Requirements

  • Educational background or current studies in Hospitality, Tourism, or related fields preferred
  • Strong interest in hospitality and guest service
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and team spirit
  • Attention to detail and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and rotating shifts
  • Basic knowledge of English & Italian
