Job Description

A large, popular 6th form college in North London are looking for a qualified and experienced FE Maths Teacher to join their staff team to teach GSCE Maths & resits.

Job Responsibility

  • Preparation, planning and teaching the Maths A Level curriculum for 16 – 18 year olds
  • Prepare students for exams, coursework, homework, student monitoring
  • Where appropriate, curriculum development
  • Achieve high levels of student attainment

Requirements

  • QTS / QTLS / PGCE or other relevant teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge across all sciences
  • A proactive and engaging teaching approach
  • Strong classroom management to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students
  • Ability to use ICT effectively
