Job Responsibility

Coordinate with Electrical Supervisors to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime across all marine assets
Act as the primary technical point of escalation for complex or high-risk electrical issues, including — but not limited to — propulsion, power generation, navigation, communication/control systems and materials handling equipment
Ensure all electrical activities comply with company policies and applicable Australian electrical licensing and legislative obligations
Review and maintain electrical maintenance procedures, technical notices and best practice guidance to drive consistent standards and safe outcomes across the fleet
Review and approve electrical repair scopes, technical project plans and engineering change proposals for all vessel electrical modifications
Provide coaching, mentoring and technical guidance to Supervisors and onsite electrical personnel, building both technical competence and leadership capability across the team
