Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Administrator to operate and harden cloud foundations for data, analytics, and application workloads in a large telco environment. You will manage projects, folders, IAM, networking, and security controls; ensure platform reliability; support delivery teams; and enforce compliance (GDPR/ISO 27001). The role collaborates closely with SecOps, and Delivery clusters to keep environments secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer GCP organizations, folders, projects, IAM roles/policies, service accounts, and organizational policies
  • Configure and manage networking components: VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, routing, Cloud NAT, Private Service Connect, VPC peering, Cloud VPN/Interconnect
  • Implement and maintain security and compliance measures: VPC Service Controls, Cloud KMS/CMEK, Security Command Center, WAF, Secrets Manager
  • Ensure platform reliability, cost-efficiency, and adherence to corporate and GDPR/ISO 27001 policies
  • Collaborate with SecOps, delivery teams, and other stakeholders to enforce governance and secure cloud operations
  • Automate processes and tooling using scripting languages such as Bash or Python
  • Monitor platform health, perform access reviews, key rotations, and support incident response procedures

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in cloud administration, with 3+ years hands-on GCP experience in enterprise environments
  • Strong expertise in IAM, networking, organizational policies, and security controls
  • Familiarity with GCP data services (Big Query, Dataflow, Cloud Storage) and GKE operations
  • Scripting skills for automation and operational tooling (Bash, Python)
  • Experience in enforcing security and compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001)
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote and distributed team environment
  • Strong logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent English communication skills
