Job Description:

The Gatehouse - Greeter position at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara Santa Barbara involves providing exceptional guest services, assisting with room keys, managing luggage storage, arranging transportation, and responding to guest needs, all while upholding the Gold Standards of The Ritz-Carlton.

Job Responsibility:

Activate room keys using electronic key machine
reissue room keys to guests
communicate available room status to staff
accommodate guest requests for room changes
provide directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and nearby areas
tag, store, and retrieve luggage
assist with transportation arrangements
respond to guest needs and service requests
maintain uniform and professional appearance
follow safety and company policies
assist individuals with disabilities
ensure any outstanding requests or problems are resolved
perform other reasonable job duties

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills
ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
ability to comply with company policies and procedures
ability to speak clearly and professionally
ability to support co-workers and maintain an environment of teamwork
