Job Description

The Gate Attendant is responsible for but not limited to providing a welcoming and secure environment by greeting guests upon arrival to the pool entrance, verifying guest names for admittance to the pool and communicating accurate information to guests.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English, both verbal and non-verbal
  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Able to spend long periods of time in the sun and on your feet
  • Ability to perform job functions with great attention to detail, speed and accuracy

  • Follow direction thoroughly
  • Exert physical effort in transporting 40 lbs. of equipment

Nice to have

  • Previous experience working around pools or in the hospitality industry is preferred
  • Previous guest relations training is preferred

  • Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair
  • Responsible for work order systems accuracy by verifying all orders are completed in a timely manner to company standards and the tenant’s satisfaction
  • Ensure maintenance requests are handled as quickly, efficiently and effectively as possible and always completed within 24 hours. Inform Property Manager and resident if work delayed due to needed parts
  • Promptly communicate with the property manager concerning all maintenance issues at the property
