Job Description:

Join our dedicated team at an inpatient facility in Richlands, VA, where you'll play a crucial role in providing gastroenterology care. As a locum tenens physician, you'll perform procedures in the Endoscopy Suite and manage patient consultations, with a schedule that offers structured clinic and hospital responsibilities. This position involves a mix of procedure days and patient visits, including night call duties, ensuring comprehensive care delivery.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform upper and lower GI procedures, including endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy
  • Conduct biopsies, polyp excisions, and manage gastrointestinal bleeding
  • Consult and examine patients in both clinical and hospital settings
  • Participate in night call and manage patient consults

Requirements:

  • Board Certification Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Proficient in required endoscopic procedures and techniques
  • Experience in both outpatient and inpatient care settings
