Job Description:

Astrya Global, a San Diego–based medical staffing agency, is looking for a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a full-time role at a specialty medical center in San Diego, CA. This role will be clinic based and will not involve any procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform basic wound care and dressing changes
  • Remove sutures and staples
  • Remove drains (JP drains, EVDs depending on facility protocols)
  • Monitor ICP, vital signs, and neurologic status
  • Conduct neurological assessments and document findings
  • Communicate with neurosurgeons regarding patient status and plan of care

Requirements:

  • Current CA, NP License
  • Board Certified
  • BLS, ACLS Certifications
  • Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Covid Vaccination
