Job Description:

Astrya Global, a San Diego–based medical staffing agency, is looking for a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a full-time role at a specialty medical center in San Diego, CA. This role will be clinic based and will not involve any procedures.

Job Responsibility:

Perform basic wound care and dressing changes
Remove sutures and staples
Remove drains (JP drains, EVDs depending on facility protocols)
Monitor ICP, vital signs, and neurologic status
Conduct neurological assessments and document findings
Communicate with neurosurgeons regarding patient status and plan of care

Requirements:

Current CA, NP License
Board Certified
BLS, ACLS Certifications
Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Covid Vaccination
