You would be joining one of the UK’s largest independent connection providers who have a terrific reputation for developing their people. This is a national business with a number of offices around the UK and several sister businesses that provide complementary services. Working to support a tutelage of skilled staff across the company with the sales of electrical connection projects at 11kV and 33kV. Job Responsibility:

  • Manage team assistants installing gas infrastructure
  • Install and commission gas as instructed, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate method statements and safety instructions
  • Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain in good condition, and report any defects to the Project Manager
  • Identify at an early stage all contract variations and report to the Project Manager and work in accordance with the company Variation and Deviations Procedure
  • Complete site specific risk assessments on a daily basis and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment
  • Attend “toolbox talks” and other training courses as required
  • Record details of work undertaken and submit for invoicing in the required timescale

Requirements:

  • GN02 for Main Laying / Service Laying (or equivalent)
  • NRSWA certificate for operatives
  • SHEA Gas
  • SCO1, 2, 4 & 5
  • Any other appropriate accreditations for works in England
