Job Description

This is your chance to join a fast growing ICP company that specialises in multi-utility connections and installations across the M25 area in London. They are fully NERS and GIRS accredited and have many exciting projects across the industrial, commercial, residential and generation scheme projects. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the day to day management of all GIRS gas projects. You’ll ensure all instructions and communications are clear and consistent to the GIRs Teams and registered subcontractors. You’ll report any technical issues to the Gas Technical Advisor and ensure that the Gas Team maintains records and evidence to demonstrate all networks are fit for purpose.

Job Responsibility

  • Be responsible for all aspects of day to day GIRS projects
  • Work safely at all times and ensure safety of the team
  • Prepare programmes of work
  • Assist in evaluations and selection of subcontractors
  • Work with the Operations Manager in ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with the specification as well as to budget and programme
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with appropriate technical, health & safety, quality and environment procedures
  • Coordinate or carry out Safety and Technical audits as required
  • Oversee Routine Operations in accordance with relevant registration procedures and produce certifications to commissioning of new gas installations
  • Carry out toolbox talks
  • Ensure all onsite works are carried out in accordance with appropriate method statements and risk assessments
