Job Description:

Deliver safe, efficient assessments and top‑tier customer service to keep every project compliant and running smoothly. Attend sites to prepare comprehensive and accurate specifications and quotes for installation projects, ensuring all details are communicated to relevant stakeholders. The role involves providing support and guidance to engineers during projects and conducting quality inspections upon completion to ensure compliance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate specifications for installations following site visits
  • Order all necessary parts and subcontracted services for confirmed installations
  • Relay installation details to all relevant parties, providing both on-site and off-site support and guidance to engineers
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of operatives, providing technical support, encouragement, and training
  • Serve as a key contact for clients, assisting in developing relationships and resolving problematic jobs
  • Promote the importance of quality work and professional attitudes
  • Address recalls after an engineer has attended a property more than twice
  • Ensure client contractual and specific requirements are met and, where possible, exceeded
  • Convey company procedures and client requirements to operatives through daily contact and structured monthly Toolbox Talks
  • Assist the Head of Region and Install Manager with training requirements and technical support for both existing engineers and new starters
  • Conduct quality checks and health and safety audits to a predetermined target volume

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilation or equivalent
  • Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1)
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Previous practical experience in heating system surveys or domestic installation projects
  • Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
