Job Description:

Portsmouth City Council are looking for a Gas Contracts Manager to join our Compliance team within Housing, Neighbourhood and Building Services. Within the role you will have responsibility for the overall management of gas contracts, managing strategic Term Service Contracts in relation to gas repair, servicing and compliance activities.

Job Responsibility:

Overall management of gas contracts
Managing strategic Term Service Contracts in relation to gas repair, servicing and compliance activities
Contract management and service delivery of Gas Servicing, Repairs and Compliance Contract for HRA stock of 17,000 dwellings
Ensuring gas safety across 17,000 residential dwellings and 900 corporate assets

Requirements:

ACS domestic gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1)
Excellent technical knowledge
Experience of managing strategic service contracts
Experience of procurement of term service contracts
Excellent practical knowledge of relevant legislation and technical guidance
Experience of preparing and developing strategies, policies and guidance documents
