Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Garment Technologist to support our product development and fit process. This role is key in bridging communication between our UK team and local factories, ensuring that fit comments, technical instructions, and design intent are clearly understood and accurately executed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Attend fit sessions and accurately capture detailed fit notes
  • Translate fit comments and technical instructions between English and Chinese for pattern masters and factory teams
  • Create clear, concise diagrams to support fit corrections and construction changes
  • Support communication between design, technical, and factory teams to ensure alignment
  • Assist in reviewing samples and highlighting any fit or construction concerns
  • Ensure all updates are documented and shared clearly and efficiently
  • Maintain consistency in fit standards across styles

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
  • Basic understanding of garment construction, pattern cutting, and fit
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information across teams
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in note-taking
  • Competent in creating simple technical sketches or diagrams (hand-drawn or digital)
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in a garment technology, production, or sample room environment
  • Experience working with international teams
  • Familiarity with womenswear fit standards
