Job Description:

Workshop Recruitment are looking for an experienced garden maintenance and aftercare gardener who has a great passion for plants and outdoor spaces who is looking to work on incredible gardens to create new landscapes and developing existing landscapes. You will be working with designers, clients and a close-knit team. Our client works to exceptionally high standards, with discerning clients, award-winning designers, and gardens that demand knowledge, precision and pride. Their looking for an experienced gardener who understands that true maintenance is about detail, consistency and long-term thinking.

Job Responsibility:

  • Expert lawn care, hedge cutting and fine pruning
  • Detailed border management and seasonal planting
  • Training and shaping shrubs, climbers and orchard trees
  • Irrigation checks and general garden health monitoring
  • Maintaining terraces, pathways and hard landscaping elements
  • Working professionally and confidently with clients on site

Requirements:

  • Has 4+ years’ experience in horticulture or garden maintenance
  • Holds a Level 2 qualification (or higher) in Horticulture (preferred)
  • Has strong plant knowledge and understands seasonal garden management
  • Holds a full UK clean driving licence
  • Communicates clearly and professionally
  • Takes responsibility and works to consistently high standards

Nice to have:

PA1/PA6 spraying licence, irrigation knowledge, machinery certificates
