Job Description:

You will perform vital on-ground maintenance and restoration work within Logan’s natural reserves. This is a physically demanding role involving environmental conservation and emergency fire response.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform vital on-ground maintenance and restoration work within Logan’s natural reserves
  • Work directly under a Team Leader to execute a variety of environmental work programs
  • Implement projects ranging from bushland rehabilitation to the maintenance of fire access lines
  • Actively participate in controlled fuel reduction burns and critical biodiversity conservation efforts
  • Operate various types of plant equipment and navigate effectively within remote locations
  • Uphold and maintain rigorous safety standards for both yourself and your crew members at all times
  • Perform high-level turf maintenance (mowing, fertilizing, weeding) and landscape care (planting, mulching, and pruning)

Requirements:

  • 4+ Years experience in bushland operational maintenance and restoration
  • MR (Medium Rigid)
  • Construction Skills White Card
  • Hepatitis A, B, Tetanus, and Q Fever
  • Level III Horticulture Certificate
  • ACDC License
  • Level 1 Chainsaw Operation
  • TMI License
