Job Description:

Our Hillier Garden Centre at Liss, is a well-established and popular destination for gardening enthusiasts, offering a wide range of plants, gifts, outdoor living product and expert advice. The primary purpose of the Garden Centre Shop Manager role is to oversee the day-to-day operations within the shop of the garden centre. This includes ensuring high standards of customer service and product quality, optimising performance, and profitability, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with health and safety protocols. The role also involves working closely with management to meet revenue objectives and ensuring the smooth operation of the shop and food hall within budget. This is a full‑time, permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week. Hours are scheduled on a rota basis and averaged over a two‑week pattern. You will be joining a renowned and established family business of over 150 years, working in a fun and friendly environment with an amazing bunch of people.
