Job Description

Our Hillier Garden Centre at Bath is a well-established and popular destination for gardening enthusiasts, offering a wide range of plants, gifts, outdoor living product and expert advice. As a Garden Centre Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth running of our centre during the peak spring season. A key focus of this role will be the daily care of our plant stock, particularly ensuring plants are watered correctly and maintained to a high standard. You will also support the general centre operations as required. To support increased demand during our busiest trading period, we are seeking a proactive and flexible individual who is able to take on additional shifts when required. This position is offered on a part‑time, fixed‑term contract until 30th June 2026, with 15 hours guaranteed per week on a rota basis. You will be joining a renowned and established family business of over 150 years, working in a fun and friendly environment with an amazing bunch of people.
