An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of JRL Group's key divisions; Trent Precast Concrete Ltd. The JRL Group is a highly successful, privately owned, national construction group head quartered in North London. With a turnover of in excess of £360m, the business is currently experiencing growth and as such seeks to strengthen our Precast team. Trent Precast specializes in the manufacture and delivery of structural precast concrete units based in the heart of the country in Nottingham. Role: Gantry Crane Operator, Weekly Pay. - NIGHT SHIFT. Hours: 10pm - 6am, Sun - Fri. Interview will be held on site, you must have the right to work in the UK. We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in handling various materials and equipment in a factory setting.

Job Responsibility

  • Operate cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition materials
  • Inspect crane mechanisms and lifting components to ensure functionality
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines for crane operation
  • Communicate with team members to coordinate material handling tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of crane operations and maintenance activities

Requirements

  • Experience in crane operation, preferably in a warehouse or industrial environment
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems related to crane operation
  • Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently
  • Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills to manage warehouse tasks efficiently
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
