We’re looking for a Gaming Content Editor who can transform gameplay, trailers, and raw footage into compelling video content that connects with players. You’ll be responsible for editing a wide range of videos — from cinematic trailers to developer diaries, community spotlights, PR reels, and paid social ads. This is a chance to shape how millions of players see our games across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and beyond.
Job Responsibility:
Edit & Produce Video Content: Craft high-quality videos including game trailers, gameplay highlights, dev diaries, influencer collaborations, and community features
Social & Platform-First Content: Cut short-form edits for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter — optimized for engagement and discoverability
Paid Media & PR Assets: Deliver snappy, on-brand edits for ads, press kits, and event reels
Creative Input: Help shape video concepts, storyboards, and style approaches to make our content stand out
Channel Consistency: Ensure all videos feel cohesive with the publisher’s visual identity and brand voice
Collaboration: Work with marketing, community, and dev teams to capture gameplay footage, source assets, and tell authentic stories
Stay Ahead of Trends: Bring fresh ideas by tracking gaming video trends, meme culture, and editing styles popular with gamers
Requirements:
2+ years of professional video editing (agency, publisher, YouTube, social, or entertainment industry experience a plus)
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent), After Effects, Photoshop/Illustrator (bonus), and motion graphics
Familiarity with Steam games and the gaming landscape
Ability to cut and pace content for maximum emotional impact, hype, or humor depending on the project
Understanding of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and what works best on each platform
Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, PR, and developers
Can juggle multiple projects, shift gears quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
Familiarity in high-resolution game capture for video production
Skills in animation, 3D, or game engines
Familiarity with influencer marketing and UGC-style edits
Existing content on Youtube, TikTok, or other platforms that demonstrates an ability to grow and engage a following online
