Job Responsibility:
Developing and optimizing art pipelines
Creating tools
Solving technical challenges to empower artists
Ensuring production-ready assets meet the highest standards
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience as a Technical Artist or similar role in game development
Proven experience working on at least one shipped AAA or high-quality AA title (console, PC, or mobile)
Familiarity with art pipelines for characters, environments, and props, and ability to optimize workflows
Strong proficiency with scripting and programming languages such as C++ and C#
Experience creating tools and shaders to streamline art production and enhance visuals
Expertise in working with Unreal Engine and other game engines such as Unity
Solid knowledge of 3D modeling software (Maya, Blender, 3ds Max) and texturing tools (Substance Painter/Designer)
Understanding of performance optimization for real-time graphics on consoles and mobile platforms
Good eye for artistic quality, lighting, shading, and visual effects
Ability to collaborate closely with artists to balance technical feasibility with creative vision
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Excellent communication skills to liaise between artists, engineers, and producers
Nice to have:
Experience with rigging, skinning, and animation pipelines is a strong plus
