Job Description:

Lead and protect the integrity and profitability of a gaming ecosystem that aims for fair play and transparency. You thrive when solving complex problems in ambiguity, and you prefer action over ceremony. You will work remotely from anywhere in the world, collaborating with colleagues across data, product, and engineering to keep games trustworthy and fun. As a Game Risk Manager, you blend data analysis, game logic, and operational vigilance to detect exploits and edge cases that threaten the house or players. You monitor player behavior, review provider configurations, and build or refine detection rules so incidents are caught early and resolved clearly. You’ll present concise risk summaries to leadership and help shape our risk response culture.

Job Responsibility:

  • Detect and investigate exploits, edge cases, or manipulation in games or betting activity
  • Monitor player betting patterns for suspicious or abnormal behavior, including automated betting, collusion, or arbitrage
  • Identify RTP deviations and investigate root causes
  • Use anomaly detection tools and dashboards to flag irregular win/loss distributions or payout anomalies
  • Analyze provider reports and ensure configurations align with expected game parameters
  • Collaborate with data, product, and engineering teams to create or improve detection logic and alert systems
  • Conduct retrospective analyses of incidents to improve future risk detection accuracy
  • Work closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure fair play standards and regulatory obligations are met
  • Maintain documentation of findings, resolutions, and prevention measures

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in gaming risk management, data analytics, or fraud detection
  • Background in online gaming, betting, or casino operations strongly preferred
  • Experience with large-scale player behavior datasets
  • Familiarity with game mathematics, probability models, and statistical variance
  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills (SQL, Python, Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar)
  • Experience with real-time monitoring dashboards and anomaly detection systems
  • Understanding of RTP, RNG fairness principles, and casino or betting mechanics
  • Ability to interpret game provider configurations and logs
  • Investigative mindset, persistent, curious, and able to identify patterns others miss

Nice to have:

Background in online gaming, betting, or casino operations strongly preferred
