You will join our client, a dynamic iGaming business as a Game Mathematician. This remote, globally accessible role lets you shape the maths behind innovative games that engage players while upholding fairness and responsible growth. There is one vacancy for this role. You will work closely with developers, data scientists, game designers, and product leads to push the boundaries of probability, statistics, and balance across our portfolio. Your work will influence game pacing, payout curves, and risk controls in a fast-evolving market.
Job Responsibility:
Translate research into practical models, run extensive simulations, and explore what-if scenarios to test how new features affect balance and player experience
Document assumptions, maintain versioned models, and present clear recommendations to stakeholders, using plain language and visuals when helpful
Influence game pacing, payout curves, and risk controls
Work closely with developers, data scientists, game designers, and product leads to push the boundaries of probability, statistics, and balance across our portfolio
Requirements:
At least 4 years of experience as a game mathematician
Strong background in iGaming math, statistical modelling, probability systems, and quantitative game design
Ability to design and validate mathematical models for balance, payout structures, RNG behaviour, and player experience in iGaming products
Ability to implement models using Python, Jupyter, statistical modelling, and simulation frameworks
Ability to write clear documentation, unit tests, and ensure reproducibility
Ability to collaborate with product, design, engineering, and data science to translate research into features
Ability to analyse game telemetry, run simulations, and present insights to stakeholders in plain language
Ability to actively participate in code and model reviews, contribute to shared libraries, and support QA and regulatory requirements as needed
