Job Responsibility:
Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service, including sales transactions, cash handling, applying discounts, processing returns, and responding to customer enquiries
Maintain GoCA store presentation and operations, including stock replenishment, merchandising displays, cleanliness, inventory support, and assistance with stocktakes and artwork shipping
Ensure operational accuracy and compliance, including POS accuracy, cash reconciliation, Opal audits, resident card checks, and escalation of variances or feedback to management
Requirements:
Passionate professional strong background in Retail or Arts Management
Extensive experience in a similar position
Advanced administration management skills
Direct management experience and staff mentoring
Passion for art and knowledge of Indigenous/traditional art
Experience in working with and understanding the diversity of Australia's Indigenous peoples
