Job Description:

This role supports the day-to-day operations of the gallery and assists with marketing and online activities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Welcoming visitors and helping them explore artwork and jewellery from local artists while contributing to a warm, inviting gallery experience
  • Learning our products and sales approach alongside a team member before moving into independent sales (processing transactions, answering questions, wrapping purchases, and supporting returns)
  • Keeping the gallery looking its best by maintaining displays, restocking and polishing jewellery, and helping keep the space clean and organized, with occasional light exterior upkeep
  • Supporting marketing and online activities such as photo shoots, product uploads, online listings, and shipping orders. This may involve assisting with models, photography setup, and equipment, and occasionally participating in brand content with consent and a signed photo release
  • Supporting overall gallery operations by assisting with events, following opening/closing and product handling procedures, and updating inventory quantities and costs as new stock arrives
