This is an exciting opportunity to join our Galleries and Exhibitions team to steward our exiting new exhibition Monumental Nature – Henry Moore in the role of Gallery Assistant at the Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art and Marianne North Gallery at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the Gallery Operations Manager in all aspects of the operational running and activities associated with the Galleries
  • Ensure the provision of a high-quality front of house service
  • Demonstrate considerable knowledge of the current exhibition
  • Invigilate the gallery spaces to keep them secure, safe, and well maintained
  • Support the gallery retail operations
  • Assist in the delivery of gallery events
  • Assist in the Install of Monumental Nature

Requirements:

  • Experience of providing a customer-focused service in a heritage environment
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
  • Flexible, engaging, and positive attitude and approach to work
  • Enhanced DBS Check required
