Job Responsibility

  • Delivers accurate, complete, and timely accounting information for all entities under their responsibility for service delivery by the shared services center
  • Delivers the production of monthly balance sheet reconciliations to comply with company's requirements
  • Delivers accurate and timely period end accounts
  • Prepares monthly, annual and ad hoc financial reports in accordance with close and other timetables of the entities under his responsibility
  • Reviews and approves service requests and postings
  • Manages continuous improvement projects and participates in initiatives for the improvement of the General Accounting function
  • Preserves and transfers knowledge to other team members
  • Supports all team members and contributes to efficiency and integrity objectives of the department
  • Works extensively with peers from other departments

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of financial accounting experience, preferably gained in a fast moving, multinational environment
  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a business-related subject
  • Excellent command of English - both verbal and written
  • Experience of ERP is essential, and knowledge of SAP is advantage
  • Experienced user of Microsoft applications (particularly Excel)
  • Very good communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Proactive approach, “can do” attitude, and good goal setting skills

Nice to have

Past involvement in complex projects requiring multi-functional team working will be considered an advantage
