As a G&A Finance Business Partner, you will act as a mini-CFO for all General & Administrative functions. You will work closely with the CFO, General Counsel, MLRO, CHRO, and senior executives to ensure G&A functions operate efficiently, remain compliant, and deliver tangible value to the organization. The role is focused on cost governance, vendor and legal spend management, regulatory cost oversight, business cases, and performance management.
Job Responsibility:
Own end-to-end cost governance across all G&A functions
Partner with G&A leaders to continuously assess cost effectiveness of vendors, outside counsel, consultants, service providers, and operational contracts
Drive vendor rationalisation and procurement discipline
Act as the primary financial advisor and sounding board for G&A leadership across Finance, Legal, Compliance, HR and Administration
Partner with the General Counsel to manage and optimise outside counsel spend
Partner with Compliance and the MLRO to provide financial visibility over regulatory programme costs
Monitor the cost of regulatory change
Define, monitor, and interpret key performance KPIs for G&A functions
Establish and run a clear, repeatable performance cadence
Partner with the FP&R team to guide reporting content and interpretation
Translate complex G&A performance data into clear executive narratives
Build strong, trusted relationships with G&A leaders
Work closely with FP&R, Accounting, Controlling, and Treasury
Serve as a bridge between Finance and G&A functions
Influence decision-making through insight, credibility, and constructive challenge
Requirements:
Strong financial and commercial acumen
5+ years of relevant experience in finance business partnering, FP&A, commercial finance, or cost governance
Proven experience in cost management, vendor spend oversight, budgeting, and performance monitoring
Solid understanding of corporate cost structures
Experience working with senior leadership
Strong analytical skills
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Structured, proactive, and outcome-oriented mindset
Fluent English, written and spoken
Master’s degree (e.g., MSc, MBA, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration) from a leading international university or business school is considered a strong advantage
