Job Description:

FX Tech Algo Trading Developer role at Citi's London office working on FX trading systems. The position involves hands-on technical implementation, working with trading and quant teams, and driving the design and development of system architecture. The role focuses on building new systems, replacing legacy systems, and renovating existing systems to support Citi's #1 FX business globally.

Job Responsibility:

Hands on technical implementation of FX trading systems
Work with teams across FX Trading Technology implement solutions that benefit the business
Drive the design and development of system architecture
Work with end-users of the systems
Enhance the quality of deliverables
Ensure staff follows Citi documented policy and procedures
Maintain desktop procedures and supporting documentation
Contribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes
Ensure transparency and consistency across teams
Work directly with trading and quant teams

Requirements:

Proven understanding of FX highly preferred
Understanding of ultra low-latency development practices
Proven track record of building new systems, replacing legacy systems and renovating existing systems
Systems (software, hardware, networks) knowledge required to define solutions and trouble shoot issues
Exceptional communicator who loves working with people, confident communicating at all levels
Highly credible hands on engineer, confident to deep dive into a product and codebase
Awareness of industry trends and leveraging new technologies as appropriate
Degree educated (Masters preferred) in an Engineering or comp science field or proven experience operating in a similar role
