• Drafting agreements for above-the-line talent (producers, writers, directors, actors, and casting directors), underlying rights, and marketing for scripted and unscripted streaming programming
• Drafting projects will include producing, acting, writing and development agreements
• marketing services agreements
• option purchase agreements
• and responding to talent redline comments
• Sit in on production legal kickoff calls, department meetings, and marketing task force meetings
• Assist with research projects and help synthesize deal terms negotiation updates, closed deals terms, and signed agreements between different departments

• Previous work experience in the entertainment industry, and basic knowledge of copyright law and intellectual property
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure
• A detail-oriented approach, even when processing a large volume of documents. Shown ability to take initiative and balance multiple projects
• Collaborative teammate who can also work independently
• Demonstrate a high degree of discretion regarding sensitive and/or confidential information
• Currently enrolled at an accredited law school and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Completion of one year of law school in a current JD program at the start of the internship
• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
• Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization
• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
• Available part-time from Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm PST for the duration of the internship, 20 hours each week
• Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, California area
• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
