Job Description

A leader in contemporary home furnishings, is looking for an on site Furniture Repair Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Supervisor Dispatch and Service, the Repair Technician is responsible to ensure that only top-quality merchandise is sent to our customers. He/she is also responsible for providing courteous service to our clients in the Mississauga region, during on-site in home repairs.

Job Responsibility

  • Assess damages and chooses the appropriate method of repair Fabric and/or Leather furniture
  • Perform repairs and maintenance to Fabric and/or Leather products
  • Repair defects such as Leather touch up, mechanisms, Ratchets, Frames, electrical buttons and switches etc
  • Provide professional quality in-home service repairs as well as on site repairs
  • Daily interaction with customers, management and customer service agents

Requirements

  • Very good knowledge of Fabric and/or Leather furniture, or construction
  • Previous experience as a Furniture Repair Technician, repaired Fabric and/or Leather furniture
  • Ability to safely set up and operate a variety of furniture repair equipment and uses various hand tools
  • Autonomous and punctual
  • Comfortable with the public
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Has a valid driver's license
  • Demonstrate a high-level of attention to detail
