IKEA Brighton are looking to welcome a Furniture Assembly Assistant to our new store! In IKEA, we call this a furniture builder. Are you passionate about building beautiful, functional furniture? At IKEA Brighton, we are looking for skilled furniture builders to join our dynamic team. As a furniture builder, you will play a crucial role in bringing our innovative designs to life, ensuring each piece meets our high standards of quality and sustainability.

Job Responsibility:

  • Building furniture to a high standard to ensure our store displays provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers
  • Take responsibility to ensure furniture is built correctly and secured in line with health & safety/manual handling practices to ensure a safe shopping and working environment for our visitors and co-worker
  • Assisting Customers when there are questions related to the building of IKEA products
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support and implement range changes throughout the year

Requirements:

  • Experience in assembling furniture, with basic DIY knowledge
  • Self-motivated and able to organise own workload in a busy environment with a strong attention to detail
  • Passion for home furnishing and peoples life at home
  • You have practical hands on skills and a strong motivation for quality
