Job Responsibility:

  • Welcoming and supporting bereaved families with warmth and professionalism
  • Handling enquiries by phone and in person
  • Providing essential administrative support to ensure funerals are arranged smoothly
  • Keeping accurate records and confidential documents
  • Preparing the chapel of rest
  • Working closely with our Funeral Directors and wider team
  • Learning the full funeral arrangement process with ongoing training and guidance

Requirements:

  • Compassionate, calm and respectful
  • Well organised with strong attention to detail
  • A confident communicator with good IT skills
  • Comfortable supporting people during emotionally sensitive conversations
  • A positive team player who takes pride in their work
  • A full driving licence is essential
  • Subject to an enhanced DBS check
