Job Description:

Susquehanna is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Funds Processing & Account Opening Specialist to join our Treasury Administration team. This role is primarily administrative and critical to ensuring smooth day-to-day cash movement, account management, and operational support for trading activities. You will work closely with clearing firms, banks, and internal teams to open and maintain trading accounts, process funds transfers, and support overall treasury operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate with clearing firms and banks to open, maintain, and close accounts for various entities
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance for all account openings and maintenance activities
  • Partner with Legal and external institutions to facilitate account setup and regulatory adherence
  • Prepare, approve, and process domestic and international wires for monetary transfers among affiliates and third parties
  • Perform daily reconciliations of cash accounts and confirm wire transactions
  • Fund bank accounts for general business needs and trading requirements
  • Monitor and reconcile bank activity against internal systems to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Validate GL codes for transactions and inter-company payments, ensuring proper documentation
  • Ensure adherence to internal treasury policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in audits, internal control reviews, and assist with system enhancements
  • Contribute to automation initiatives and process improvement projects
  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance workflows, dashboards, and exception monitoring tools

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Experience with MS Excel required (VBA a plus)
  • Prior experience in treasury, operations, account opening, or middle/back office functions at a financial institution preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to work in a highly confidential environment
