Job Description:

Lead the strategic and operational aspects of fundraising efforts for Gifford Cat Shelter. Develop and manage a comprehensive annual fundraising plan, oversee data and CRM operations, and execute multi-channel fundraising campaigns to drive sustainable revenue growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement a 12-month fundraising roadmap covering all revenue streams including annual fund, monthly giving, grants, events, corporate partnerships, digital campaigns, and major gifts
  • define fundraising goals, segmentation strategies, timelines, and revenue projections
  • manage campaign and communications calendars, including monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts
  • maintain donor data integrity, CRM management, and generate timely reports and dashboards
  • oversee gift entry, acknowledgment processes, and gift reconciliation with finance
  • coordinate appeal production, email fundraising campaigns, and recurring giving programs
  • manage donor stewardship activities, including communications, recognition, and event follow-up
  • optimize digital fundraising channels and maintain fundraising-related web content
  • support grant application processes and reporting
  • manage event operations including registration, ticketing, and post-event reporting
  • oversee systems, processes, and vendor relationships related to fundraising operations
  • conduct prospect research to identify donor upgrade opportunities

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of professional fundraising experience
  • at least 5 years in development operations or fundraising program management
  • proven experience in building and managing comprehensive fundraising operating plans
  • advanced proficiency with Bloomerang CRM and related fundraising tools
  • strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • experience working with small to mid-size nonprofits
