Job Description

As the incredible Fundraising & Partnership Development Manager at STEAM for Vietnam, you will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of events, campaigns, and partnerships, expanding our funding opportunities. The ideal candidate must be passionate about our mission while being innovative, project-oriented, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. This is an unpaid, volunteer opportunity.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform research regarding suitable non-profit grants, competitions for cash, and in-kind resources in the United States
  • Write applications/proposals and coordinate with other team members for supporting materials
  • Manage and grow corporate partnerships/sponsorships and related events/activities
  • Generate and distribute reports to sponsors and partners when required
  • Build strong, open, and collaborative working relationships characterized by mutual respect within and outside the organization

Requirements

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Exceptional communication and networking skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
  • Hands-on experience raising funds either for non-profits or start-ups (including start-up pitch competitions) preferred
