Job Responsibility:
Deliver a range of fundraising initiatives
help grow Solace's high-value fundraising from corporates, trusts and foundations, and major donors
contribute to wider objectives of the Business Development Team, particularly within Fundraising
help build strong relationships and partnerships
raise the organisation's profile and income
work collaboratively with colleagues
manage both community and challenge events
provide wider fundraising support
Requirements:
Proven experience in delivering community fundraising
excellent written and verbal communication skills
ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences across a range of formats
knowledge of developing social media content and producing branded publicity materials
strong organisational and project management skills
keen eye for detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
confidence with IT systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and CRM databases
experience of Salesforce and creative design tools such as Canva being desirable
strong understanding of and commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, particularly within the context of the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector
commitment to continuous learning and professional development
ability to work both independently and collaboratively
using initiative and sound judgement as part of a team
Nice to have:
Experience of Salesforce
creative design tools such as Canva
