Job Description:

The Fundraising Administrator plays a vital role in delivering these responsibilities. As the first point of contact for supporters, you will manage daily banking and thanking processes, maintain accurate financial and donor records, and ensure all income is handled in full compliance with Charity Commission guidance and fundraising regulation. You will liaise closely with the Cashiers Office and the wider fundraising team to provide excellent supporter care, enabling the charity to protect income, retain donors and grow its fundraising activity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage daily banking and thanking processes
  • Maintain accurate financial and donor records
  • Ensure all income is handled in full compliance with Charity Commission guidance and fundraising regulation
  • Act as the first point of contact for donors at the Cashiers Office, handling enquiries by phone, email and in person
  • Maintain accurate data
  • Manage the charity inboxes
  • Support Gift Aid processes
  • Ensure all activity complies with Charity Commission guidance, fundraising regulation and data protection requirements

Requirements:

  • Good general education to 'GCSE' level standard or equivalent
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of administration practices
  • Face to face and phone/email customer support experience
  • Experience in working within a fast paced office
  • Experience of financial administration
  • Experienced of working with databases

Nice to have:

  • A Level qualified or equivalent level of experience
  • Fundraising thanking and banking experience
  • Fundraising supporter care administration or customer care experience
