Join Capital City College (CCC) as a Funding Assessor & Data Entry Assistant and help ensure students are successfully enrolled and funded as they begin their educational journey. This is your opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, student-focused environment during one of the most important times in the academic year. We are seeking motivated and detail-focused individuals to support our enrolment teams during the main enrolment period (August - October 2026). This role is offered on a temporary, hourly paid basis (£16.14 per hour). You will play a crucial role in ensuring that student data is accurate, funding eligibility is correctly assessed, and learners receive a smooth and professional enrolment experience.
Job Responsibility:
Supporting funding assessments, including eligibility checks in line with College policies
Ensuring all required evidence is collected, recorded, and compliant with audit requirements
Identifying and resolving funding queries, escalating where necessary
Accurately inputting and updating learner applications and enrolment data
Checking data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Maintaining high-quality records in line with GDPR and College standards
Supporting data quality checks and correcting errors promptly
Acting as a first point of contact for applicants (in person, phone, and email)
Providing clear information on enrolment and funding processes
Supporting a positive learner experience through a professional and approachable manner
Working closely with admissions, curriculum, and student services teams
Requirements:
GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, data entry systems)
Experience in a customer-focused environment
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written, verbal, and numeracy skills
Ability to manage data carefully and maintain confidentiality
Professional and approachable manner
Ability to work calmly under pressure in a busy environment
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
