Job Description

We are looking for a Funding Analyst to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. In this role, you will evaluate the financial health of companies seeking funding and help structure deals to meet their needs. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct detailed assessments of client creditworthiness to support funding decisions
  • Analyze financial data and company performance to evaluate potential investment opportunities
  • Collaborate with team members to structure funding deals that align with company objectives
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports, including ad hoc analyses, to support decision-making processes
  • Manage and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems to track client interactions and deal progress
  • Perform in-depth credit analyses to determine eligibility and risk levels for funding
  • Assist in the development of strategies for improving financial outcomes and deal structures
  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders to discuss findings and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations during the analysis and deal structuring process

Requirements

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in credit or banking sectors
  • Strong knowledge of CRM tools and their application in managing client relationships
  • Expertise in conducting ad hoc financial analyses and interpreting complex data
  • Familiarity with credit analysis methodologies and evaluating financial risks
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Proficiency in preparing detailed financial reports and presentations
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in financial transactions
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred
