Job Description:

The Fund Development Coordinator – Annual Giving works within the Philanthropy Services team and reports to the Manager, Philanthropy. This position is responsible for preparing annual giving initiatives including monthly giving and other fundraising formats (i.e., direct mail, digital marketing campaigns), donor and sponsor stewardship, event management, database management and other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution in fundraising, business, marketing, communications or in a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in fund development and/or data base management or the equivalent in education and/or experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and active listening communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) regulations and compliance
  • Skilled at communicating and presenting information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to effectively interact in a diplomatic, collaborative, professional and results-oriented manner
  • Skilled in being able to efficiently prioritize workload
  • Valid BC Driver’s License
  • Access to a reliable personal vehicle for intermittent driving needs
  • A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is a condition of employment
