Job Responsibility
As the Senior Manager, you will leverage your past experiences as well as excellent organizational skills, sound judgment, the ability to prioritize tasks, and strong personal character to help your team perform and grow
Your team will benefit from your good listening skills, tailored coaching, and planning
You will guide your team in completing their tasks, and by extension acting as the final level of review
As the central point of contact for your accounts, you will identify and anticipate potential issues, allowing you to assess risks accurately and provide appropriate solutions to meet client needs
You will guarantee all operational aspects of the account and will be in charge of the coordination and validation of all work delivered by the team
Be a subject matter expert on Funds of Funds procedures and can resolve high complexity day-to-day situations and requests
Develop and support the team by providing a framework for adherence to procedures and policies, ensuring that your team members receive adequate training and constructive support
Build and maintain internal and external relationships while organizing and leading training sessions to enhance team knowledge and capabilities
Ensure client deliverables are input in workflow planner and adequate resources are allocated to ensure staff are fully utilized
Review investment capital calls and distributions including mailbox management, wire instructions confirmation and capturing amounts in system, etc
Supporting the team efforts with regards to internal reporting (compliance, internal audit, maintenance of process documentation (corporate knowledge base)
Serves as the escalation point for internal and external parties on unresolved servicing issues and concerns
Represents the team in platform-wide initiatives (e.g. handover, onboarding), provides solution-oriented guidance to stakeholders, and proactively voices potential concerns
Proactively runs high complexity projects or initiates independently and drives Team-relevant system and process changes and enhancements
Provides his/her superior with constructive and meaningful solutions beyond their immediate area of responsibility and keeps on the oversight of all assigned tasks
Requirements
Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience managing and developing teams
Microsoft Suite experience, including advanced proficiency in Excel
Highly organized and proactive, with strong follow-through on commitments
Personal and professional integrity
Strong work ethic, responsiveness, and passion for customer service and quality
Excellent communicator with strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively with team members and senior leadership in a remote or hybrid environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
Possess a comprehensive understanding of fund accounting processes
Proficient in reviewing complex processes, managing escalated client issues, and nurturing client relationships
Skilled in establishing and monitoring key performance metrics to enhance team performance and operational efficiency
8 to 15 years of experience in asset management, preferably within fund houses, fund administrators, or the Big Four, is highly valued
Strong knowledge of Fund structures, Funds of Funds and investran
A minimum of 4 to 5 years of leadership experience is required
