Job Description:

Citi is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager (Assistant Vice President) within its Dublin operations. Initially, the role will focus on ensuring a seamless Fund Accounting onboarding for a new client, after which the role will strategically pivot to oversight and management of that client's Fund Accounting operations. The successful candidate will blend strong technical fund accounting expertise, a client-centric approach, and robust risk and control skills to drive Citi’s growth, regulatory compliance, and service innovation.

Job Responsibility:

Support the FA Vice President and Project Manager to ensure a seamless Fund Accounting onboarding process for a new client
Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, building strong relationships, fostering growth, and effectively resolving escalations
Oversee offshore fund accounting operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant NAV production
Serve as a senior escalation point for critical operational queries and complex NAV-related issues
Implement and maintain robust risk management, internal controls, and quality standards, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Drive and champion continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
Lead and support the successful implementation and adoption of system enhancements and new technologies
Lead, manage, and foster the professional development of a high-performing Fund Accounting Oversight team, including performance management and strategic workforce planning

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Fund Accounting or a related financial services role
Working knowledge of InvestOne Fund Accounting platform essential
Prior experience of new client onboarding from a Fund Accounting perspective
Strong technical knowledge of end-to-end fund accounting and NAV production
Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
Highly analytical with problem-solving abilities
Organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
