Job Description:

We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Liverpool, working as a Functional Skills Cover Teacher on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements:

Hold a teaching qualification and, where applicable, a relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
Have previous track record of achieving of quality and performance targets
Have experience producing accurate and timely reports
Positive team working
Effective communication & inter-personal skills

Nice to have:

Experience working in a Cover capacity/in a prison environment
