Job Responsibility:
Analyse business needs
Perform gap analysis
Design payment journeys that align with both operational and technical requirements
Work closely with developers to ensure solutions are well understood and effectively implemented
Communicate complex concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders
Contribute to the development and optimisation of payment applications and infrastructure
Collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process
Enact the vision defined in the product roadmap
Provide subject matter expertise to support collaboration between product owner and technical side
Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision
Gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility
Develop and implement assessments for continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance
Monitor product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation
Stay abreast of latest industry technology trends
Requirements:
Knowledge of instant payment schemes such as Faster Payments (FPS) or SEPA
Experience working in Agile environments, including writing features and user stories
Experience with interface specifications for system integration
Strong ability to translate business requirements into end-to-end solution designs, particularly within payment journeys
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the intermediary between business stakeholders and technical developers to ensure solutions are understood and implemented correctly
Working knowledge of ISO20022 payment messages and interface specifications for system integration
Basic understanding of payment applications and processing environments
Nice to have:
Familiarity with payment message formats, including ISO8583 and ISO20022 (pacs, pain, admi)
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including experience in gap analysis
Strengthen controls and manage risks related to payment processing, particularly within regulatory environments
