Job Description:

Robert Half is looking for BSA / Data Consultant for our client in Public sector. Business System Analyst / Consultant needs to have hands-on experience in SAP ECC 6. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Controlling (CO), overhead allocation, and General Ledger asset management. The position partners with Accounting, Finance, and operational teams to interpret requirements, analyze business processes, and support improvements leveraging SAP modules.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze, document, and map current and future-state business processes in relation to SAP ECC 6 modules (Controlling, Asset Management, General Ledger and overhead allocation)
  • Serve as key liaison between business users and technical teams for enhancements and issue resolution related to overhead allocation and SAP CO processes.
  • Support configuration, data validation, and master data management for asset management and controlling areas.
  • Develop and execute test plans for new functionality, enhancements, and changes to financial modules.
  • Advise on best practices for overhead allocation methodologies, cost center structures, and reporting
  • Generate reports and provide data-driven insights for management decision making
  • Support financial close, audits, and compliance activities as they relate to SAP modules

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with SAP ECC 6.0 modules, including Controlling, Asset Management, and General Ledger.
  • Expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling processes, including configuration and customization.
  • Strong knowledge of overhead allocation methodologies and cost center structures.
  • Ability to analyze and map business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with developing and executing test plans for financial systems.
  • Proficiency in generating reports and providing data-driven insights.
  • Familiarity with financial close procedures and audit requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
