Join Our Client's Growing Team as a Fully Qualified Accountant! Diepeveen and Partners, a boutique search firm, is seeking talented candidates for an exciting opportunity with one of our prestigious clients. Our client has evolved from an international consulting firm into a leading business investment and services group, focusing on venture capital, flexible infrastructure, and corporate business services. Due to their continued expansion, they are now looking for an experienced Fully Qualified Accountant.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage accounting for costs/receipts, bank, cash, suppliers, and customers
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of customer and supplier analyses
  • Conduct monthly inventory of fixed assets and manage invoicing
  • Maintain stock records and monitor investments in progress
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including report preparation and account balance reconciliation
  • Collaborate with the payroll department and provide necessary data
  • Prepare and submit timely tax returns and manage VAT analytics
  • Reconcile tax current accounts and year-end general ledger, and execute closing tasks
  • Prepare year-end returns and publish final balance sheets and accounts
  • Facilitate the audit process by providing information and maintaining auditor contacts
  • Update accounting policies and initiate transfers

Requirements

  • Degree in finance/accounting
  • Extensive knowledge of Hungarian accounting and tax legislation
  • Minimum of three years' experience in comprehensive company accounting
  • Proficiency in IFRS or US GAAP
  • Chartered, registered accountant status or qualifications to register
  • Professional communication skills in English (because of international clients)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
