Fullstack Software Engineer for the Alan Shop, an e-commerce platform integrated within the Alan app, designed to provide members with seamless access to high-quality health and wellness products.

Job Responsibility

  • Reimagine and create an innovative, seamless shopping experience that positively impacts our members' lives
  • Tackle a high-impact & high-pace project involving many stakeholders
  • Design and enhance a powerful platform used daily by thousands of members, scaling rapidly
  • Influence the product direction, mentor other engineers & lead technical initiatives that shape the future of the e-commerce platform

Requirements

  • 5+ years of engineering experience with a track record of leading major initiatives from conception to delivery
  • Full-stack engineer enthusiastic about working across the entire stack, with a specialisation in backend development
  • Member-facing product expertise - you understand what it takes to build delightful user experiences at scale
  • Open to working with TypeScript and Python in a cross-platform environment, familiar with modern web technologies, and proficient in Object-Oriented Programming using Python, Java, Swift, Kotlin, and C#
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset — you thrive on working closely with others, actively seek alignment within the team, and contribute to a positive, high-performing team dynamic
  • Clear progression in your career - increasing responsibility, scope, and impact over time
  • Humble and still willing to grow
  • Fluent in English (no need to speak French!)
