The solution / You’ll be working on assignments that make a big impact on the future of the client’s business – your work will enhance performance in sea shipping as a source of inspiration for the development of the world’s maritime operations. You’ll be able to take over and independently continue the development of multiple software projects according to precise roadmaps.

Job Responsibility:

Design and develop back-end and front-end components following the functional specifications, proposing the solutions that best fit the needs of the project or product
Manage task development in collaboration with other team members
Build user interfaces that are usable, mobile-responsive and properly separated from the back-end
Develop efficient APIs and web services
Write quality code and corresponding unit tests to ensure robust software
Debug and analyze logs
Design and develop data structures on relational and non-relational databases
Write technical specifications for other developers and coordinate subsequent development activities

Requirements:

BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent certified education
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
Excellent knowledge of Java
Thorough understanding of the following frameworks: Spring Boot, J2EE, ES6, Vue.js
Excellent knowledge of the main relational (PostgreSQL, MS SQL) and non-relational databases
Comprehension of Linux operating systems, Docker containers and WildFly application servers
Working experience with Git
Proven knowledge of JavaScript
Hands-on experience with RESTful API development, SOAP web services, and JMS
Experience with Agile methodologies
Fluency in English
Excellent ability to work in a team
Strong problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

Familiarity with microservices architecture
Knowledge of PrimeFaces framework
Familiarity with DevOps methodology and CI/CD pipeline
Previous experience in the supply chain field
Azure deployments experience
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Grafana, Test Containers
